Samarth at the G20 Education Working Group Exhibition, Chennai
Samarth participated in the G20 Education Working Group Exhibition on the role of Digital Technologies in Education, hosted by IIT Madras. The Exhibition stall positioned Samarth project and its core objective of working towards building future ready digital campuses. Taking into account the G20 platform, the Samarth stall was designed to showcase its eGov suite and the range of Modules that have been designed and implemented across the country in Universities and Higher Educational Institutes.
The print and visual displays at the stall highlighted the functionality of the Modules covered in the Samarth eGov suite as a good governance model supported by data on usage and sign ups of employees and students so far.
A trifold leaflet capturing the gist of the Samarth eGov suite and its features of being a research driven Open Source and Open Standard enabled technology; its alignment with the National Education Policy and its any-time, any-where plug and play component was designed with links to the Samarth website and contact details as an introductory reading material as a take away.
The Exhibition, held as part of the first G20 Education Working Group (EdWG) Meeting attended by 80 delegates from 30 countries and international organizations gave an opportunity to the Samarth team to share its journey and achievements with delegates and visitors.

Samarth, a Ministry of Education initiative, got the attention of the delegates at the G20 event who recognized it as a step towards unifying governance of Central and State higher education institutes that were previously using multiple operational systems.
