E-Samarth Portal Operationalized at RTMNU for Enhanced Administration and Student Services
Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) has officially operationalized the E-Samarth portal, a digital platform deployed by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The portal aims to streamline processes related to students, education, finance, and other administrative tasks. After two years of reminders from both the Central and State Ministries of Education, RTMNU has accelerated its implementation, using the portal for student admissions, exams, results, and general university administration.
With over 40 modules, the E-Samarth portal offers comprehensive functionality. The university administration is now preparing to train officers and ensure timely data uploading across various departments. RTMNU has decided to use the system for all activities related to the Winter-2024 PG exams and plans to extend its use to all university exams starting from Summer 2025.
