Key Responsibilities

• 1. Project Planning and Execution

• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and milestones for SAMARTH implementation across various HEIs

• Coordinate with different teams (development, QA, infrastructure) to ensure timely delivery of features and updates

• Manage project scope, identifying and mitigating scope creep

2. Resource Management

• Allocate and manage technical resources across different modules and HEI implementations

• Identify skill gaps and coordinate training or recruitment to address them

• Balance resources between new feature development, maintenance, and HEI-specific customizations

3. Stakeholder Management

• Act as a liaison between technical teams, HEI administrators, and ministry officials

• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders at various levels

• Manage expectations and negotiate priorities among different stakeholders

4. Risk and Issue Management

• Identify potential risks in the SAMARTH implementation and develop mitigation strategies

• Manage and resolve technical issues that arise during implementation or operation

• Develop contingency plans for critical system components

5. Quality Assurance

• Oversee the quality assurance process for SAMARTH modules

• Ensure that the system meets the required performance, security, and reliability standards

• Manage the UAT (User Acceptance Testing) process with different HEIs

6. Change Management

• Oversee the change management process for SAMARTH's technical infrastructure

• Evaluate and prioritize change requests from various HEIs

• Ensure smooth rollout of updates and new features across the SAMARTH ecosystem

7. Vendor Management

• Manage relationships with any third-party vendors or service providers

• Ensure vendor deliverables align with SAMARTH's technical requirements and timelines

8. Performance Monitoring and Optimization

• Monitor system performance across different HEIs and modules

• Identify bottlenecks and coordinate optimization efforts

• Ensure the system scales effectively as more HEIs are onboarded

9. Compliance and Security

• Ensure SAMARTH complies with relevant education sector and technology regulations and data protection laws

• Oversee implementation of security measures and conduct regular security audits

10. Knowledge Management and Documentation

• Ensure proper documentation of technical processes, architectures, and decisions

• Facilitate knowledge sharing between different technical teams and across HEI implementations

The Assistant Manager will be responsible for implementing Samarth Modules at Universities/ HEIs.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute project plan for implementation of Samarth in institutions
• Draw and execute strategy to drive institutions towards building and efficiently operating digital interfaces for their students and staff. Guide institutions to adopt, use and contribute in improvement of Samarth eGov suite.
• Assist institutions in configuring their instance of Samarth and make it ready to use for them.
• Provide in-person and online training to institutional users and administrators to understand process automation workflows, best practices and carrying out administrative and academic tasks using Samarth E-Gov Suite.
• Provide first level support to institutional users and take ownership for troubleshooting user/technical/configuration problems, and provide corrective solutions with a sense of urgency.
• Timely escalation of unresolved problems to second level and follow up.
• Help the product team in analyzing change requests submitted by the institution by understanding user requirements and identifying gaps.
• Ensure institutional users are made aware of new functionalities & features
• Perform manual testing of system and provide feedback to development team
• Develop training material including user guides and walkthrough videos
• Build, train and lead team of assistants for troubleshooting and support for end users.

The coordinator is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and monitoring of the implementation of Samarth in the HEIs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop project plans and timelines: The coordinator will develop comprehensive project plan that outlines the tasks, timelines, and resources required to implement Samarth Egov Suite (ERP System) in the institution.
2. Coordinating project activities: The coordinator will work with various stakeholders to ensure that all project activities are completed on time and within budget.
3. Managing relationships: The coordinator will work with software teams and HEIs to negotiate contracts, resolve issues, and ensure that the software is implemented correctly.
4. Training and support: The coordinator will ensure that university staff are trained on the new system and provide ongoing support to ensure its effective use. They will record escalations reported from the institution and coordinate with relevant teams for redressal and closure.
5. Monitoring project progress: The coordinator will monitor the progress of the project, identifying any issues or risks that may arise, and develop plans to mitigate those risks.
6. Reporting: The coordinator will gather insights and progress data from implementation team and prepare periodic project progress reports for all insitutions assigned.
7. Communicating with stakeholders: The coordinator will communicate project progress to key stakeholders, including project leadership, and end-users.
8. Testing and quality assurance: The coordinator will oversee the testing and quality assurance of the system to ensure that it meets the university's requirements and standards.
9. Develop & maintain procedures, processes, and other documentation as needed.
