Assam UG Admission 2024: Over 86,000 students completes FYUGP process, 2nd merit list today

As many as 86,239 students of the total 1,28,317 students have completed admission for the four-year undergraduate programme (FYUGP) through the Samarth portal. This year, admission for FYUGP programmes in Assam either through CUET or non-CUET mode are provisioned only through the common admission portal – assamadmission.samarth.ac.in.

According to data shared by the Assam Education Minister Ranoj Pegu, as many as 66,600 students are enrolled in the arts stream, in the commerce, 7,280 students have enrolled and in science, as many as 11,400 students have registered. Gender-wise, around 49,200 students are female students and 37,000 students are male students.

For non-CUET 2024 mode, the second merit list will be published from the midnight of June 24 and the second batch will be published on June 24 to June 25 (3 pm). Admissions of applicants against the second merit list will start on June 26 and will continue till June 28. Spot admission for the non-CUET 2024 mode will be held between June 29 to July 1.

For admission under the CUET mode, students will be able to select their programmes on July 1 and 2. For admission under CUET mode, students will be able to select their programmes on July 1 and 2. While there will be three merit lists, the first list will be released on July 9 followed by the second and third on July 12 and 16 respectively.
