Streamlining NEP 2020 in Assam

A 3 day Workshop (May 15-may 17) was facilitated by Samarth at IIC that covered end to end demonstration of of key lifecycle processes for students and employees along with other governance modules in the Samarth E-Gov suite, discussion of New Education Policy 2020 features and developing an implementation roadmap.
Earlier, the Education Minister of the Government of Assam had recommended the onboarding of all State HEIs in the Samarth portal for seamless technological integration in educational institutions.

The workshop is a follow up to a review meeting on NEP 2020 held in the Assam Administrative Staff College on May 2, 2023 attended by the State Education Minister Dr Ranoj Pegu besides the Adviser, Education, Prof. (Dr.) Nani Gopal Mahanta, Additional Chief Secretary, Higher Education Department, Biswaranjan Samal, and other officials of Higher Education department including Vice-Chancellors, Academic Registrars and NEP Coordinators of all state Universities of Assam along with Principals, Academic Deans and NEP Coordinators of all autonomous colleges.
