Mission

Programming and Technology Lead works with the Programming team to achieve product goals.

Responsibilities

 

  1. Adept at qualitative customer interviewing. Capable of deriving key insights and patterns from customer interviews, and using that input to clarify problem statements
  2. Regularly join customer and partner visits that can lead to new features
  3. Proficient at story mapping, to break epics down into smaller MVC issues
  4. Proficient at collaborating with Design on prototypes to bring potential solutions to life
  5. Adept at breaking epics and issues down into MVC's
  6. Knowledgeable about the product and the relevant product domain(s), the architecture, API's, and tech stack
  7. Capable of running a demo anytime
  8. Able to make highly informed prioritization & tradeoff decisions with R&D
  9. Able to discuss & evaluate technical architecture recommendations from R&D
  10. Responsible for the health of working relationships with peers in the Group
  11. Familiar and comfortable with agile development methodologies
  12. Understands and communicates the business value of epics and issues
  13. Sets success metrics for epics and issues, and tracks metrics post-launch to guide investment in iterative improvements
  14. Spends up to 20% of time researching & defining category vision & strategy
  15. Bring ideas to reality by surfacing ideas early and collecting feedback
  16. Capable of written and verbal communication internally and externally.
  17. Trusted resource for user calls and meetings
  18. Build rapport with stakeholders to align around priorities
Requirements

 

  • At least 3/4 years experience in a lead position (such as Product Manager, Engineering Manager or Team Lead)
  • Cloud Infrastructure (GCP, AWS) and containers (Kubernetes)
  • Expert in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
  • Creative thinker and problem solver, able to distill complex problems down to actionable items
  • Deep and broad knowledge of current and emerging technologies that affect the business
  • Expert on product, architecture and workflow at both typical and large scale
  • Expert in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting major portions of a production stack
  • Proficiency in the English language, with excellent written and oral communication skills
  • An inclination towards communication, inclusion, visibility, and transparency
  • Experience in leading teams technically
  • Help us work on the future of DevOps tools; specifically, building out serverless application and function management
